BT have said that they’re going to switch off their popular digital telephone network by the middle of the next decade.
The service is used by tens of thousands of businesses: from smaller SME’s to large, international companies.
When BT turn off their digital network, the cost of services should be less and the quality of IP (VoIP) services will hopefully be the same as the existing BT digital service. BT will slowly replace their existing ISDN 2 and ISDN 30 digital telephone service networks with IP (VoIP) telephone networks.
This is why you need to be prepared and use a virtual number when you move or upgrade in order to guarantee network carrier delivery of your existing numbers and to ensure you can still receive quality calls without converting to IP (VoIP).
We can help with any problems you may have changing or enhancing your services. You can choose from a range of different options: from virtualising your existing numbers, by adding landline toll-free ‘freephone‘ numbers, geographic or non-geographic UK numbers; as well as freephone numbers.
